After two films of true friendship flirting non-stop, Poppy (Anna Kendrick) and Branch (Justin Timberlake) have formalized their relationship. As they get to know each other and grow closer, Poppy realizes that Branch has a hidden past. In his day, he was a member of our heroine’s favorite band, BroZone: a ‘boyband’ made up of him and his four brothers: Floyd (Troye Sivan), John Dory (Eric André), Spruce (Daveed Diggs) and Clay ( Kid Cudi). The group broke up, as did the family, when Branch was still a child, and he has not seen his siblings since.
But when Floyd, one of Branch’s brothers, is kidnapped by a pair of evil pop stars Velvet (Amy Schumer) and Veneer (Andrew Rannells), the goal is to use his musical talents. To save them, Branch and Poppy will have to embark on an emotional new adventure to reunite the family and rescue Floyd from a fate even worse than bleak oblivion by fans.
