The story begins by following young models Carl (Harris Dickinson) and Yaya (Charlbi Dean), who work in the fashion world while trying to become influencers. Both win tickets to travel on a luxury cruise, being the only middle-class passengers among a group of millionaires, led by an alcoholic communist sea captain (Woody Harrelson). However, one stormy night the ship sinks, leaving the survivors stranded on a deserted island. The hierarchy within the group changes completely when the only person who knows how to survive in this inhospitable place is a Filipino cleaner, who knows how to fish and make fire.
