In an attempt to get rid of a troubled past, Sarah is determined to build a new life in a rural area with her boy named Chris. Arriving there and trying to adapt to the new environment, Sarah has a terrifying encounter with a mysterious neighbor that shakes off any hope of safety she has and throws her into a nightmare spiral wrapped in paranoia, lack of confidence, and she tries to find out if the troublesome changes her boyfriend is experiencing is connected with a drainage channel deep in the forest that surrounds her house.
