Since the death of his pregnant wife in an earthquake in Haiti 12 years ago, Victor Fielding (Leslie Odom Jr.) has had to raise and care for his daughter, Angela, on his own. At times, it seems like he has managed to raise a happy and healthy young woman. But one day Angela and a friend disappear in the nearby forest without apparent explanation, returning three days later without remembering what happened to them. From this moment on, a series of inexplicable and terrifying events occur that will make Victor fear for the life of his daughter. This father must face the greatest forces of evil to fulfill his mission and, in his terror and desperation, he turns to the only person on the face of the Earth who has faced something like this before: Chris MacNeil (Ellen Burstyn).
