A local sheriff, attaining an honorable age, was tired of the incompetence of his two helpers, Thurman and Jim, and decides to fire them in the hope that he will be able to find two more efficient people. While Thurman and Jim are preparing to leave the headquarters, the serif is informed by the prison director of the area that he has escaped a prisoner, who is seen in their jurisdiction. The two decide to find her, to rejoin the sheriff’s grace. But once they succeed in catching him, he somehow convinces them that he is innocent.
