Dramatic sci-fi thriller revolving around the power and intelligence of AIs. An uncertain future in which 10 years ago an Artificial Intelligence detonated a nuclear warhead. Now, when humanity is mortally wounded, people are at war with the machines, and are fighting for their very existence. As long as Artificial Intelligences are a threat, a technology capable of wiping humanity off the face of the Earth, they will not stop chasing them. Joshua (John David Washington), a former special forces agent, is recruited to track down the Maker, the cold mind behind advanced Artificial Intelligence. He must locate the weapon that the AIs fight with after rebelling against the humans. But that weapon is a girl, a being with the appearance of a girl. It will be then when Joshua must decide whether to execute her or let the human race become extinct.
