The earth suffers from a major energy crisis, and for this reason the war is imminent. A possible solution could be a team of experts to move to the International Space Station where to use a particle accelerator to produce an unlimited energy source. Ava leaves behind a loving husband, but also a tragedy that made her see the two kids die.
