When Edna (Robyn Nevin) inexplicably disappears, her daughter Kay (Emily Mortimer) and her granddaughter Sam (Bella Heathcote) go to the family’s country house that is in complete decline, where they discover numerous clues that evidence the increase of the old woman’s dementia. However, Edna mysteriously returns without revealing where she has been. As Edna’s behavior becomes more unpredictable, Kay and Sam begin to notice a presence that could be taking control of the woman.
