In the future it is possible to transfer life from one person to another. The biotech company AEON is making billions in profit with this method. But not only that, the company has changed lives around the world forever with its technology. Elena (Marlene Tanczik) is faced one day with insurance claims that she cannot attend to. As a consequence, she has to give up 40 years of her life to AEON. Her husband Max (Kostja Ullmann) works for AEON and does everything possible to recover the years of life lost by Elena. In the end, he discovers that the managers of the high-tech company have Elena’s life as their specific objective. But what is behind her perfidious plan and why, precisely, Elena? Max makes up his mind and rescues the trusting Elena, now a race against time begins for both of them that they will hardly be able to win.
