Matt works in the music industry and strongly believes that talent is more important than the style that comes and goes, but these principles are very hard to implement in a constantly changing industry. His father, a very good photo journalist who currently suffers from liver cancer, contacts Matt (who is not at all in the best relationships for more or less serious reasons) through his personal assistance to him accompanying a trip across the country to Kansas in his desire to develop some soul-shots he has on some movies, and Kodak is about to shut down all of Kodachrome’s laboratories soon, his last chance, to print them.
