Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) is the best extractor. His job is to enter the dreams of his victims and extract secrets of the business world to later sell them with large dividends. Due to his risky methods, large corporations have him in their sights, and no hiding place offers him security. He cannot return to the United States where his children are waiting for him. The businessman Saito (Ken Watanabe) recruits him for his last mission, which if successful could allow him to return home. This is a very difficult mission.
