In a far-off future, books are outlawed and all copies that are in circulation or in possession of humans are confiscated and incinerated by the so-called “pyroman”. Guy is one of those who deal with this activity and does it without thinking about the real motives for which he has received this order, and he is convinced that he puts his shoulder on the good course of society. Everything changes drastically the moment he meets another person that makes him think about what he does and his beliefs.
