The film is at the heart of events on Laura, a woman who is on a journey from Argentina to get to a small town in Spain where she was born and raised and where her sister is going to be married. On the occasion of this wedding, Laura brings with her and her two children to show them the city where she has grown up. Besides the happy meeting with relatives and relatives and enjoying the wedding celebrations, the big daughter is kidnapped by strangers and their joy is abruptly interrupted, being replaced by fear and despair. In the tense days that follow, more tensions between the family and the community come to the surface, and deep hidden secrets are revealed.
