In Alava, the 19th century, Alfredo investigates an event that takes him to a blacksmith somewhere in the heart of the forest where a blacksmith named Patxi lives. This is the subject of a lot of fables and horror stories told by villagers in the area – most of them focusing on Patxi’s pact with the devil. One day, an orphaned little girl wanders alone in the woods and goes unnoticed to Patxi’s ironmongery and brings to light a terrible truth the man strives to keep secret.
