The film presents the moral and existential odyssey of a detective woman working in the Los Angeles Police Department, Erin Bell. While she was a young cop, Erin was forced to work undercover in a California desert group, but the consequences of this infiltration are somewhat dramatic. When the leader of this group reappears many years after those incidents, Erin has to make his way through former grp members and his own past to get to face the demons that have ruined his past.
