In Colorado of the 1970s, racism is still in full swing, and black people are not seen at all by the eyes of the rest of the world. However, a certain Ron Stallworth manages something that seemed impossible until then; to become the first color detective in the department. Even so, he is still ridiculed and busy doing a lot of dull things in the office without too much meaning or action. He wants to prove he is capable of working on the field, so he decides to go undercover and infiltrates himself with the help of a colleague and friend of his in the fearful Ku Klux Klan network.
