Milla Finlay (Eliza Scanlen), a teenager suffering from a serious illness, becomes her parents’ worst nightmare when she falls madly in love with Moses (Toby Wallace), a drug dealer. But, when Moses becomes Milla’s only reason for living, her parents’ traditional morale begins to fade. The young woman learns to live as if she had nothing to lose and to enjoy every minute as if it were the last, and with her, her family also learns to enjoy that way.
Babyteeth, written by Rita Kalnejais and directed by Shannon Murphy (Sisters), is a call to hope, the will to live, and a teaching on how good it is to be alive and how far love can go.
