An ultra-sophisticated dog-robot developed by the army to protect the soldiers on the battlefield using Artificial Intelligence is hiding in the desert after an unfortunate end-of-life experiment where it is discovered by a young adorable man. AXL and young Miles form an unusual friendship based on trust, loyalty and compassion, the robo-dog helping the young boy to regain confidence in his own strengths.
