In Avatar: The Sense of Water, the sequel to Avatar (2009), we move ten years after the first battle of Pandora between the Na’vi and humans, Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) lives peacefully with his family and his tribe. He and Ney’tiri have started a family and do everything they can to stay together, due to marital problems and the roles each must play within the tribe. However, they must leave their home and explore different and inhospitable regions of Pandora, entering the sea and making pacts with other Na’vi from those regions.
When an ancient threat resurfaces, Jake must once again wage a difficult war against the humans. Despite the adversity, Jake ends up making new allies, some already living among the Na’vi and others with new avatars. With a new war raging, Jake and Ney’tiri will have to do everything they can to stay together and take care of their family and their tribe.
