Hannah (Hadley Robinson), a young dressmaker, seems stable, but secretly struggles with a problem that makes her life miserable. Hannah soon falls ill because of those buried feelings that manifest in something horrible that keeps growing on her body: an appendix. As Hannah’s health worsens, this species of parasite begins to aggravate her anxiety crisis. She becomes convinced that she does not have the talent to do her job, her relationships with her boyfriend and her best friend deteriorate and she notices that her parents do not love her or understand her. When she can barely take it anymore, Hannah makes a shocking discovery: there are other people just like her.
