A group of nuns lead a lonely life in a monastery, under the more or less demanding supervision of the superior mother. They spend their days expressing their dissatisfaction with the routine of the monastery, spying and insulting the good man at all, the master employed by Father Tomasso. To replace him, the parent hires Massetto. It shows him as a deaf-mute to remove any temptation. However, Massetto’s virility has to make enormous efforts not to be unmasked.
