10 years have passed since the breach that so far allowed the alien incursion on Terra was closed, preventing dangerous Kaiju monsters reaching the surface of the Earth. Unlike his father who died as a hero, Jake Pentecost has dubious activities. He has the chance to drive his life, to take the right path by piloting Jaegers, giant robots. Jake begins to care for Amara, a talented and rebellious adolescent. While the authorities predict to use the drones to control the Jageres robots, a miscarriage error occurs. Jake and his inexperienced team have the mission to fix mistakes made by others.
